In 2014, I first learned about the MH370 incident through the news. My parents were watching television at the time, and the broadcast reported this shocking tragedy. The plane, which was en route from Malaysia to Beijing, had disappeared, quickly capturing the attention of the entire nation as most of the passengers on board were Chinese. This tragic event left countless people in shock and sorrow.
The disappearance of MH370 became an enduring mystery, as no conclusive information about its whereabouts was ever found. Despite extensive searches, Malaysian authorities were unable to locate any concrete evidence, and eventually, the search was called off. This decision only deepened the enigma surrounding the incident, making the truth feel even more elusive. Many speculated that there were secrets surrounding the flight, though the specifics remained unknown. There were even rumors about influential figures on board, though such theories have never been verified.
Inspired by the lasting impact of this event, I decided to make MH370 the focus of one of my works. For me, MH370 represented a monumental mystery, symbolizing the unknown and the complex layers of human curiosity. To capture this, I designed the layout of my piece as a labyrinth, aiming to convey the intricate and obscure nature of the incident and the lingering desire for truth.
